Susan Watson - 'I want to let you know of an extraordinary fundraising achievement ... the Midsummer Celebration last Saturday raised an amazing £2,040 towards the Church Hall upgrade.
Everyone was so generous - as well as ticket sales from guests, we had donations from the cast, musicians and the catering team as well as those who couldn't make it to the event. The raffle was also a roaring success - the amount raised through the raffle alone almost covered costs (good to know for future fundraising events).
A special thanks to David and Lillis Lyon, who hosted the event in their garden, which was the perfect setting.
